World Series Matchup

The Texas Rangers eliminated the New York Yankees to advance
to their first World Series. The Rangers didn't have a Series win in the playoffs until they beat Tampa Bay to play the Yankees. The Yankees had only lost one game to the Rangers in the playoffs, prior to this year's ALCS. My congratulations to the Rangers and I hope you can win it for the American League.

The San Francisco Giants were the underdog in the NLCS against the Philadelphia Phillies. The Giants over the years haven't made the playoffs, even when they did they would lose in the NLDS. The Giants weren't much of a run scoring team during the regular season, so most people were figuring they would lose in the NLDS. That didn't happen.  They beat the Atlanta Braves to play in the NLCS. The Giants beat the Phillies in 6 games by one of the most exciting ways to win a baseball game-hit a home run in the top of the eighth to take the lead, shut the Phillies down in the bottom of the eighth, then try to score insurence runs in the top of the ninth(which they didn't), and then get the win in the bottom of the ninth with the save.
