Operation Christmas Child has many different factories all around the U.S. Kids in Africa, Afghanistan, Sudan, and many other countries are facing starvation and hardships that are unimaginable to us; they have nothing. A lot of the time we don't realize just how fortunate we are. Our stuffed animals that we own from when were kids sit on our shelves, collecting dust and being forgotten, our toys lie in boxes under our beds. There are so many things that we buy and then toss aside like trash because we have grown out of them, or we have forgotten all about them.
Each year, we have the amazing opportunity to join in on one of the biggest organizations in the country that spread the word of Jesus. When a child receives a shoe box, joy comes to the people delivering, and the children get something worth having. Millions of people are apart of this wonderful organization, so contribute to the cause by bringing in various toys, coloring things, books, etc. to school.
