In the American League we have the New York Yankees vs. the Texas Rangers. The Rangers and Yankees haven't played each other since the 90's when the Rangers were a more dominant club in the American League West. Every time the Yankees played the Rangers, they would destroy the the Rangers hopes of making it to the World Series. The Yankees are sending CC Sabathia to mound against the rookie CJ Wilson of the Rangers.
In the National League we have the San Francisco Giants vs. the Philadelphia Phillies. The Phillies will be keeping the same rotation they had for the NLDS. Starting off on mound for the Phillies is the Doc, Roy Halladay. The Giants will put their trust in Tim Lincecum in game one of the NLCS.
