Snow has Arrived!

Snow has finally arrived on Orcas Island. Last week at my house I got 6 inches of snow; it was very fun to sled down my hill. Snow gives the holidays a more magical feel; it just makes everything more fun to do. But also more challenging to drive in, oh well the snow makes school late at least! I hope that it snows more this holiday season; it is a joy to all the children and families. Snow can bring families together when we normally wouldn’t get to see each other. Maybe your dad won't have to go to work and everyone can just go build a snowman, or have a good old fashion snowball fight.  So go out in the snow, enjoy it while it lasts, it’s only a couple weeks out of the year we get it. Make the most of it and don’t be a Scrooge!
