Giving and Receiving

If you notice one thing about our "complicated and troubled lives" everything turns out right. There are some lives that are made hard by God and those are the ones we need to help. For example my sister goes to school with one kid who grew up in some part of Africa. The only reason that person is at college is because somebody gave only $1.50 a day to send someone in the family to school. The family chose the oldest boy. The boy was transported into the nearest city to study about 10 hours a day. He is now studying hard at college and will attend an Ivy league school in a year or two.
Only $1.50 a day! That's only about the price of a Snickers bar on the ferry. My sister was talking to him and he said he would get whipped if he did something wrong! She replied "Thats terrible! Why did they do that?" he laughs, then turns serious "Why is that bad?"
Here's the quote of the day and the rest of his response...
"It tought me responsibility"
So, back to the turning out even subject. Wait why ruin this beautiful set up for a spiritual example of what we all should be doing this time of the year.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD!
To start off, sorry I haven't really stayed on topic there's just not much to do on a plane to New Mexico but a lot of things are going through my mind. If I stayed on topic it wouldn't have been as exciting. Okay, now I will talk about
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD!
I will start off by saying if you haven't given anything yet then you need to start focusing. ONLY YOU can change lives! To be honest it's you, 4 billion other people on this earth, and God. I will share some facts about why the other percentage of earth can't in the next blog but I'll try to stay on topic for this subject.
Okay, I will stay focused. If your one of the energetic high school students who walk to town at lunch then ask your parents for an extra dollar and go by the pharmacy and but a little Barbie or something exciting like that.
This blog is getting lengthy so I will stop here and leave you with this thought...
The holidays are coming and we should be giving but we are so lazy with are gifts? *comment box below*
