Blackout in a can. How else can you describe an alcoholic energy drink that has hospitalized 23 students from Ramapo College, New Jersey? This product, Four Locko, is an alcoholic energy drink that has the equivalent of four glasses of wine, and a cup of coffee to equal its sweetness and caffeine.
Alcohol poisoning has been found in these 23 students, the beverage keeps people conscious, but wasted to the bone. Four Locko's manufacturer, Phusion Projects, has said they will modify their drink and take out the caffeine...mind you they won't take out the alcohol instead of the caffeine. Because what's in energy drinks? Caffeine!
